Soutn Asian images was launched by Ali Shah with the help of the Editor-in-Chief, Rabia Shah, when they saw a lack of properly focused media that was showcasing the South Asian Canadian lifestyle in properly branded way.

SAIC's mission is to promote South Asian culture in a positive light and cater to every possible information and entertainment need of South Asia and South Asian enthusiasts residing in Canada by providing a comprehensive source on every spectrum of South Asian culture.
